[++] Willem de Sitter. ++On the Constancy of the Speed of Light++ "Über die Genauigkeit, innerhalb welcher die Unabhängigkeit der Lichtgeschwindigkeit von der Bewegung der Quelle behauptet werden kann" ("On the Accuracy Within Which the Independence of the Speed of Light from the Motion of the Source Can Be Asserted"), discusses the principles of the constancy of the speed of light, a cornerstone of Einstein's theory of relativity. paper revolves around the assertion that the speed of light remains constant regardless of the motion of its source. [++] Other contributors to this volume include Fajans, Richardson, Millikan, Ewald, Stark, Meitner, von Laue, Langmuir, and others. Library copy, and nicely bound in cloth and boards there are no exterior library marks, and on the interior there is only a bookplate and a small tasteful rubber stamp on the title page. There is some rubbing on the edges of the covers, though in general this is a VG copy.
