SIGNED COPY. Original edtion, 1880. Size - 7.25 x 5 inches, pp. vi + 157, hardback in publisher's cloth. Book condition - Very Good ; contents clean, ink inscription on the flyleaf - ' Rev. L. Fisher, M.A. with the author's compliments ' - verso of flyleaves with some foxing and the second flyleaves show quite heavy tanning on the recto (but, oddly, not on the verso), inner hinges intact and binding firm ; publisher's green cloth with decorative pattern and title in black on the front ; corners a bit rubbed and very lightly bent, board edges good, back back with a few small marks otherwise clean, spine complete with ends creased and nicked, spine a little darkened but clean, front clean with very slight darkening towards the top, title and pattern complete and bright. No dustjacket - if ever issued ? Please see the photos for indications of the condition and contents. The author, Henry Ullyett (1838-1898) was a Headmaster St. Mary s School in Folkestone, the founder secretary of Folkestone s Natural History Society, the originator of Art and Science classes in Folkestone and President of the Folkestone museum.
