Doubleday [Published date: 1965]. Hard cover (small board book) 32 pp. Stated First Edition. Inscribed (personalized) and signed by May T. Watts on front free end paper and inscribed and singed by "May" on small "blue heron" book sticker on front paste down. In acceptable condition. Small illustrated paper over boards have bumping to edges and corners of cover and some nicking to the paper over the corner tips and top and bottom of spine. Light overall scuffing and soiling to cover as well. String binding is loose (string is broken) and beginning to pull apart from boards, but is still attached. Pages are lightly aged but otherwise unmarked. NOT Ex-Library. No remainder marks. Lovely illustrations by Michael Bevans.
