Illustrated throughout with photographic and illustration plates and a coloured frontispiece. This is a commemorative volume published circa 1930, celebrating the life and career of Sir John Martin-Harvey (1863-1944), a distinguished English stage actor and manager, renowned for both his performances and his contributions to the stage. Complied and edited by R. N. Green-Armitage (R.N.G.-A.), the book includes a foreword from R. B. Cunninghame Graham. This edition is printed and engraved in Great Britain at the Burleigh Press, Lewin's Mead, Bristol. In the original cloth binding in the original unclipped dust wrapper.
