Softcover. Condición: Fine. Publisher's prospectus. One folio sheet of salmon paper folded twice to make four pages, with the unused printed mailing envelope present. Prospectus measures approximately 6" x 9½" closed. Modest tanning, mostly confined to the envelope, else fine. A nicely printed prospectus for *A Calendar of Saints for Unbelievers* by Glenway Wescott with illustrations by Pavel Tchelitchew, and *A Typographical Commonplace-Book*, described as "a tour-de-force in printing"; the final page prints a "Retrospecticus" of other Harrison titles and a couple of positive blurbs.

With the private bookplate of Ward Ritchie on the front pastedown. Spine faded, slipcase with some dampstaining along the bottom edge, else a near fine copy. First issue, with "everythin gin" on p.43 uncorrected. The 11th publication of this press, and designed by Monroe Wheeler. This presenation copy inscribed on the front free endpaper by Monroe Wheeler, dated "Christmas 1945." Spine lightly faded, else a near fine copy, and scarce in this condition. The 11th publication of this press, an obscure Parisian press of young, expatriate Americans. Each page is set in a different type face and printed in black with red and blue ornamentation. After his return in 1934 to the usa, Monroe Wheeler did have a great career at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Inscribed books by Wheeler are not common.

Standard Edition housed in a slipcase, signed by Graham Moss on the Colophon. Copy number '95' of an edition of 100 numbered copies (from a total edition of 175 copies) which were bound in paper-covered boards and slipcased by Roger Grech at his Papercut Bindery at Shipley in West Yorkshire;( the balance of 75 copies, each forming one of a two volume Special Edition, were bound using covers of hand made paper from Two Rivers Paper at Watchet in Somerset). The patterned paper covering the boards, endpapers and slipcase are from a linocut pattern by Nicolette Scarpa. Quarter bound oatmeal cloth, card pocket affixed to the front free endpaper with a photograph within. Printed label to the spine of the board slipcase. Small Quarto, 263 x 180 mm, pp. [p108] fully illustrated and with numerous ephemera tipped-in and laid in. Illustrations include; calligraphic ornaments by Elizabeth Friedlander, stock blocks from the Franklin typefoundry, Victorian wood engravings, paper bag, prints by Ferdinand Pichard, Maria Bonita, Nick Wonham & Andy English, specimens of Klang, SB Garamond italic, Lectura, Granby, Consort & SB Modern types, chutney, quince and marmalade labels. A book and slipcase in Fine condition. A memorial and celebration of the life of librarian, bibliophile and printer Kathy Whalen. Written by her partner and co-publisher Graham Moss. Winner of a Judges Choice Award at the Oxford Fine Press Fair 2022.
