Belmont lays out tricks of memorization, recall, and concentration: "It is the wish of the author to acquaint the reader with a series of thinking exercises that will make possible quickly accomplishing many mental feats long regarded as 'impossible' or a 'gift' that few were endowed with." He also promises that students "after mastering 'Miracle Memory' can present a series of demonstrations at Lodges, Clubs, Night Clubs, Picnics and similar places that will build popularity and respect for their mental ability."
