There is slight edge wear and bumping to the superior and inferior spine edges as well as very slight edge wear to the inferior board edges. It was an Oprah Selection. It also was the winner of the Pen/Hemingway Award for first book of fiction. Book was signed in my presence in St. Paul on the title-page. Book is tight, square and clean with a complete number line including "1". The mylar protected DJ is price-intact ($18.95) and is lovely and is 1st State (only two reviews on back).
