Terson's were a London based construction firm who were a major contractor in post-war schemes from Sheffield to Stevenage New Town, apparently founded via the Carter Paterson haulage firm (from where the firms's name was derived - TER + SON). Having expanded rapidly to be one of the UK's biggest contractors as part of the Power Securities conglomorate (with Balfour Beatty) they suffered financial collapse at the end of the 1960s.This book sets out in great detail the design and construction techniques required for its prefabricated housing system, with estimated timings for moulding, lifting and so on.…
