Please do not hesitate to make any suggestion.�Planning was underway as early as 1893, but Sener�s address is given as �The Cairo� which was not completed until 1894. He was on the board of Mount Vernon.Born in Fredericksburg, Virginia, he attended private schools. In 1859 he graduated from the University of Virginia and went on in 1860 to law school at Washington College (now Washington and Lee University) in Lexington. He was admitted to the Virginia bar the same year and practiced in Fredericksburg. He became Sheriff of Fredericksburg in 1860, and Sergeant from 1863�1865. He served as Army correspondent of the Southern Associated Press with the army of Gen. Robert E. Lee. He became editor of the Fredericksburg Ledger in 1865. Sener was elected as a Republican to the Forty-third Congress, he stood for reelection, but was unsuccessful. He resumed the practice of law and served as Chief Justice of Wyoming Territory 1879�1884.
