"An Pilibin" is the Irish pseudonym for John Hackett Pollock (1887-1964), one of the founders of Dublin's Gate Theatre. This is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition, which has been LIMITED to 500 copies, with the type distributed. An uncommon book; copies held at Cambridge, TCD, and the British Library. Olive paper wraps with white titling on the front cover. Clean text; 56 pages. There is no publication date, but bibliographers agree on 1924. The yapped edges inevitably lead to creasing and splits along the margins, but these are very minor. There is a bit of light sun to the spine; else a Fine copy. Limited. Soft Cover. Near Fine/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
