Contains directions to; parents, youths, minds possessed with envy and malice, good kings, first ministers of state, clergy and young ladies. This is a comic attack on the prevalent follies and vices of the day and was written as a response to Joseph Alleine's A Sure Guide To Heaven. The alleged author, Belezebub, offers advice to youths to ease their tempers by defacing public parks and buildings. In a calf binding. Externally, a trifle rubbed with loss to front board, corners and head and tail of spine. Corners are bumped. Marks to front board and tidemarks to rear. Front joint starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound with light foxing to pages throughout. Good. book.
