Very good tightly bound hardback, with a short inscription on the second (blank) endpaper and the pink cloth has generally faded, in a very attractive unclipped dustjacket which is lightly chipped at the corners and spine ends, has been neatly internally strengthened with archival tape. Dustjacket artwork is by Tansley, and is the second state, with an advert for a book not published until 1940 on the rear panel (book is a first printing, and the book and jacket appear to have been together for a very long time). xii + 304 pages + adverts, map endpapers. A very nice copy of the third novel by this very talented author [real name Charlie Christmas Bush (1888-1973) who also wrote crime novels as Christopher Bush] again with a Breckland setting.
