Añadir al carritoPrinted on blue paper, crossed; sl. creased in upper margin. Cheque no. 03220. It is not obvious what this rather large sum is for. There is no reference to the payment in Pilgrim Letters, and the latest recorded correspondence with a 'Patterson' dates to 1861. The recipient is probably Robert Hogarth Patterson (Catherine Dickens's cousin) who was, from 1858 to 1865, the editor of The Press, a weekly journal conceived as a mouthpiece for 'progressive Toryism'.
