Shea Theatre Programme: Orange-colored covers, stapled, with black print. Eight-page theatre programme for the perdormance of " Blossom Time," based on the life and music of Franz Schubert. No publication date, but an ad for a Sonja Henie movie (Wintertime) indicates 1943. Cast information and synopsis of scenes carry through several pages, mixed in with local business ads. The theatre opened as the Majestic Theatre in 1904 and had changed its name to Shea's by 1941. The theatre building was torn down in the 1960s. A rare piece of ephemera from Erie's theatre history. A second souvenir program, titled Blossom Time, is included in this lot, and provides 14 pages of general information about the play and the life and music of Schubert. Some staining to the rear cover, otherwise a nice, clean copy. 9 X 12 inches.
