Award certificate at front dated 1976, and we suggest the book was produced during the 1960s. The artist's signature is on each page, but is indecipherable. Contains 22 colourful pages including endpapers. The quality of the Art-work is very good. A children's book about both extinct birds and large living birds. We have tried various sources but have not found any reference to this title. Spine ends slightly damaged, internally spotless. The story is about a Professor Meyer, his young daughter and her friend. There is a small 4-leaf clover motif on the lower corner of the back cover with the letters H E A M M, and a reference # S. 062/3. We assume that it is a rare, or at least, a scarce book.
