Gray cloth; toned spine retains its blue stamping; bumping to boards' bottom fore-edge corners. Foxing/toning to text block edges and endpapers; staining to pages 79-84; a few scattered light foxing spots to interior leaves which otherwise remain clean. Binding is firm. Title page cites Alex Schomburg as both dust jacket and endpaper illustrator but this third printing has blank endpapers (Winston tended to issue illustrated endpapers only with their first printings).

Brown, editor of *Locus* and his wife Marsha, who later married noted British sci-fi artist Eddie Jones. A nice association copy between two important and influential science-fiction editors.
