The Blue Books offered complete maps of every motoring road, running directions at every fork and turn as signage was still rare and often incorrect, mileages, points of interest, and tips for motorists. The illustrated insert for New York includes maps and illustrated ads for the Hotels Astor, Vanderbilt, Woodstock, Chatham, St. Francis, and the Boston lists alongside hotels their public library, and automobile garages, such as the Stanhope and Fenway Garage Co. The insert for New England includes photos of resorts on New Jersey's North Shore, and Asbury Park. Numerous maps, strip maps, and one large folding map on thick paper at rear. Large map attached to rear cover has a 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" closed tear to one fold. Edgewear, rubbing, creasing to spine, along with some bumping to corners. Very good.
