The top edges of the pages are a bit stiff, as if damp at one time. There is a bit of staining in the top edge margin of the last few pages; no other dampstaining or odor noted. Many B&W plates, including one of the "First Electrocution Chair". There is a color plate entitled "Map of the State of New York Showing Judicial Districts." . There is a large folded color map in a sleeve at the rear; this map is quite clean.
