Includes 19 illustrative figures, in addition to tables and diagrams. Black cloth covered boards with pink-stamped lettering on the front board panel, pink and white lettering on spine. Boards are clean. Small amount of crimping along upper edge at head of board spine. Shallow bump along upper edge of front board panel to the left of center. Light age-toning to external page edges. Book is internally clean and text block is snug. Dust jacket is somewhat scuffed and lightly soiled overall. Spine and fore-edge folds are sunned and scuffed. Fore-edge folds are creased. Back fore-edge fold has two horizontal closed tears of 3/8" and 1/8. Edges at head and tail of jacket spine are chipped, rubbed and with tiny closed vertical tears. All fore-edge corner tips are rubbed, loss of 3/16" or less. Lower edge of back jacket panel has a 5/8" closed vertical tear toward the spine.
