Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. From January 1897 to December 1987 and includes an illustrated Almanack at the beginning. First edition and printing. In very good minus smart, bright blue boards, with blind stamped floral corners to front and rear and gilt Punch with a gilt globe with "The World' in blue letters and gilt 'Punch' figures to spine with blue titles. The boards are flat and quite clean, with slightly loose front cover from the tail end and crushed spine ends. The end papers have a small olive green and white small floral pattern. The free end papers are slightly tanned; the paste downs are very tanned. There is a split to the gutter of the front free end papers. The text block is printed in two columns and illustrated throughout in black and white. The pages are tightly bound, even and with a red dot pattern to the cut edges. The end page and the first Prelim are a little tanned, otherwise the pages are unmarked. Excellent for age. Very good condition. No dedications etc. Without jacket. Very heavy.
