In the second part of the book, headdresses of different formal and functional types are illustrated in 260 color and black and white plates, accompanied by drawings and contextural photographs. All objects are explained in elaborate descriptions providing identifications of regions, ethnic groups and forms and interpretations of functions, meanings and contexts.
