Añadir al carritono binding. Condición: very good. Queen Dowager Amelia Adelaide Therese Caroline Wilhelmina, also known as Adelaide of Saxe-Meiningen, left an indelible mark as the Queen consort of the United Kingdom and Hanover from June 26, 1830, to June 20, 1837, in her role as the wife of King William IV. Born on August 13, 1792, in Meiningen, Saxe-Meiningen, Holy Roman Empire, she played a pivotal role in the royal court until her passing on December 2, 1849, at Bentley Priory in Middlesex, England. Her final resting place is in the Royal Vault at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle. As the daughter of Georg I, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen, and Luise Eleonore of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, Queen Adelaide brought a noble lineage to her royal position. Beyond her regal duties, Queen Adelaide is commemorated in the city of Adelaide in South Australia, which was named in her honor. Her full name, Adelaide Amelia Louise Theresa Caroline, reflects the grace and influence she brought to the early 19th-century courts of the United Kingdom and Hanover.
