Edited by Porcupine's Quill editor John Metcalf and publisher Tim Inkster, the Reader is a collection of short stories and anecdotes by the authors who have had an association with the press over the course of its history and provides. Providing something of a behind-the-scenes account of the publisher, it is described as "a tonic for the literary voyeur." This copy is in as new condition and is signed by John Metcalf on the title page.
