Previous owner's inscription in pen to front endpaper. Text block edges are a little tanned and foxed with minor scratches and droplet marks. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall; notable small dark marks to rear. Spine is noticeably sunned to ends. Gilt is dulled. Book has a moderate forward lean. Unclipped jacket has some edgewear. Slight chips, creases, rubbing. Top and bottom edges covered in adhesive tape, thus some staining; surface tear to front flap with loss of text. Small water stain to front panel & tape mark to rear. …
