Central Italy consisters of two parts bound in one volume: Part I: 4th ed. (1857); Part II: 5th ed. (1858); South Italy: 3rd ed. (1858) bound separately. Both volumes show similar modest wear with rubbed joints, corners, and bands, spine gilt partially rubbed away, publisher labels and one title label now lacking. Firm bindings, clean interiors. Lacking front blank preceding each first main title, interiors otherwise fully intact. xxxix,288,xxxii,432 pp. (Parts I and II separately paginated), (Part I) 2 folding plans and 1 folding map, (Part II) 1 folding plan, 1 folding map + liv,408 pp., (2) folding maps, (2) folding plans, with additional large folding map of Rome.
