Also with an autograph letter from the author to 'My Dear Antony', dated 3rd February 1951, on a small sheet of headed note-paper; introducing the gift of this book some three weeks in advance of the publication date, and mentioning the commissioning of a further book for Batsford. Further notes also on several loose sheets of paper in a different hand. Some spotting to endpapers and facing leaves. Light wear to cloth. Very good.
