No Jacket. 1st ed. f/piece+61, 7 further photo-plates ex-pagination; label for the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts on fr. pastedown, their oval red lib.stamps on facing endpaper and back of f/piece, faint browning to front endpaper offset from pastedown label, faint browning also to outer side of rear endpaper and rear pastedown, otherwise internally clean and unmarked, occ. slight gutter openings but may be just from binding method; green cloth covers with green printed title on paper pasted on front, this appears to be from a long absent dust jacket (does not seem to be a library binding of a soft-back book), price in bottom right corner is clipped short. Short tear top back joint and very small one to front side. The 'C.R.' in corners of this title refers to the 'Community of the Resurrection' to which the author belonged.
