No Binding. Condición: Near Fine. A. L. Bertelsen Ilustrador. A seperately issued map on 1 sheet measuring app. 17" x 18.5". Scale is 3/4"/1 mile, Mountains outlined to illustrate height. A few folksy drawings sparodically located; the Flume, The Old Man, Crawford Notch, Mt. Chocorua, Glen Ellis Falls, Mt. Washington. Shows to Berlin/Lancaster in the north, Bean Purchase & Hale Location in the East, Albany, Thornton, Piermont in the South and Haverhill to Monroe on the western edge. Legend; Roads, HWays, State Riutes, RR's, Rivers, Lakes, Golf Courses, Landing Fields, Lookout Stations, Mountains, Ski Trails, Town & County Lines, AMC & DOC Huts. This is the only early White Mountains map to collect all of that particular information on 1 sheet. Skiing was in its infancy in NH and both the AMC & DOC rarely were listed on any map other than ones they produced. Minor white spotting around the edges, otherwise about Fine condition, remarkably well-preserved. A very unique map and quite scarce.
