Manuscrito que recoge textos de autores como el Marqués de San Felipe, Lafuente, Mariana, Fr. Nicolás de Jesús Belando o Melchor de Macanaz. Incluye el decreto de renuncia de Felipe V, así como una carta del mismo a su hijo y sucesor, Luis I, un relato de la proclamación de éste y el decreto por el que Felipe V vuelve a proclamarse rey. Recoge, asimismo, unas interesantes "Reflexiones sobre el retiro del rey D. Felipe V al Sitio de S. Ildefonso y arreglo de la familia que allí había de tener S.M.", obra de Fr. Gabriel Bermúdez, confesor del rey. Se trata de materiales que Joaquín Maldonado Macanaz incluiría posteriormente en su "Voto y renuncia del Rey don Felipe V : discursos leídos ante la Real Academia de la Historia en la recepción pública del Excmo. Sr. D. Joaquín Maldonado Macanaz el día 3 de mayo de 1894".

Antecede la Real Provisión, el Breve del santo padre Pio VI, en la que condena un libro, una "obrilla, que era una especie de Apología de ella (otra anterior publicada en 1780), y que estaba compuesto por el propio Autor, o bien por otro que siguiendo el mismo empeño aun le excede en audacia y perversidad; porque hallamos que el mencionado Libro -Seconda Memoria Catholica- parto a la verdad del odio, y de la maldad era todo un texido de maediciencias, injurias, mentiras, calumnias, y aserciones que desviandose mucho de la verdad, solo respiraban falsedad [.]. 10 hojas, inclusive una blanca al final.
