Añadir al carritoPaperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book details the faunal survey of the Canadian Long Point and its surrounding area, conducted by the Royal Ontario Museum of Zoology in 1927 and 1928. It is part of the broader survey of the fauna of the province of Ontario, Canada, with the intent of understanding the interactions between various forms of life and their environment. This book explores the ornithological observations made during the two expeditions. Over 120 species of birds were recorded, indicating the region's importance as a nesting ground and a stopover point during migration. The work also contributes to the study of the southern range extension of typically boreal species, the northward range of typically southern species, and the ecological relationships of coexisting species at this transition zone. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
