Il contient une carte des environs de Paris, et une carte des routes de poste de France. Bel exemplaire en reliure portefeuille, avec une vingtaine de feuillets blancs reliés en tête, couverts de notes par un voyageur de l'époque. Les soufflets intérieurs contiennent encore trois billets imprimés relatifs à des places retenues dans les malles-postes par l'ancien propriétaire du volume.
