Printed purple cardboard box contains: a checkerboard backing affixed to a metal hanging rack which holds 2 printed blue tiles; a rolled printed fabric with two plastic endcovers; 6 loose illustrations in faux wood grain sleeve with purple backing; and another empty faux wood grain die cut sleeve; good condition; box has residue from removed linen tape around spine hinge and light edgewear to box but is still sturdy with no splits; contents very good, but seems to be missing a 32 page sketchbook--box states that there are essays by 4 contributors but this is not present. As is. Foreign shipping may be extra.

One yard of fabric, 6 x A4 plates on stiff card, PCB, Tin Copper Chessboard, all in presentation box (should also contain 32pp sketchbook with thick card covers, but the sketchbook is missing). 31x31, purple board box with yellow and green illustration. Box slightly sunned, contents fine. As noted, the sketchbook is missing. Published to coincide with an exhibition at the Association by Peter Weil, called 'Heavy Box'. Introductory essays by Dawn Ades, Nigel Coates, J Christopher Jones and John Thackara. Very unusual and interesting item.

Condición: VG+. First edition. Box (33 cm x 35 cm) containing 1 booklet (32 pages), 1 yard of fabric, 6 separate color plates, tin copper, wire, 2 engraved plastic cards along with a chessboard. Contains all original contents which are all in excellent condition. Published by Architectural Association Publications (AA) on the occasion of an exhibition at the AA in London, May 29-June 25, 1985. Moderate edge wear to the purple box which also shows a ring stain (from a cup that was placed down upon it) to the front cover. Scarce.
