Signed on the inside front by Anthony Powell, English costume designer for film and stage. He won three Academy Awards, for Travels with My Aunt, Death on the Nile and Tess. Signed at top of an image on page 35 by Lartigue to Anthony and on page 79 by model Florette. Jacques Henri Lartigue was a French photographer and painter, known for his photographs of automobile races, planes and female Parisian fashion models. Shows a mixture of early and later works in black and white plus colour. Small amount of text in French.

No Binding. Condición: Very Good. Limited Edition. Very Good; chief fault is that the folders containing each print have some spotting to the top and spine edges; on two of the folders, the spotting extends to the top edge of the outer surface of the cover flap and, to a lesser extent, to the top edge of the inner surface of the back flap, to which the print is affixed. The enclosure of padded blue velvet has very light wear at the bottom edge, and the inner flaps of marbled-paper-covered boards have some wear at the joints and a bit of rubbing to the outer surfaces. The 15 page staple-bound pamphlet is in perfect condition. All prints are in perfect condition and protected by tissue guards. Ribbon ties are present and functional but may be shorter than they were in their new state. Portfolio measures 17x14 inches; the print folders and the pamphlet measure 16x13 inches. The prints typically measure about 7.5x5 inches, but some are larger and/or differently shaped. This is copy number 720 of an English-language edition of 5,000 copies. Signed by Lartigue under the limitation statement, which is on the inner flap of the enclosure. Included is a folder of news clips and marketing materials relating to the portfolio.
