Soft cover. Condición: Fair. No date but c. 1890. Japanese themed story (Apparently not the Japanese Dollee story but another that uses the same cover - Two little Japs) With sepia toned and chromolithographic illustrations. Cut in the shape of a Japanese child. Rubbing to edges with splitting to spine, text-block coming loose. Previous owner's clever repairs, replacing feet and rear of head that must have been lost. Toning within. Fair.

Half-Leather. Condición: Good. Cook Ilustrador. This is a very old book die stamped in the shape of a japanese boy in traditional dress holding a doll that looks much like himself. 8 pages each with nice color pictures. Cover is worn on edges and has toe section missing on front. The short piece that is the legs and feet is creased at the bottom of the boys dress outfit. There are a couple other small creases. The small green cloth spine is complete and little worn but the pages have come loose on the inside. The contents are generally in good shape with a few finger marks and a light edge stain on one page. Not very politically correct and I think the author has mixed some of the oriental races but calls them all Jap. Not dated anywhere but quite old, 1890 is a guess.
