In addition to the cookbook, there is an illustrated catalogue for agate cooking and serving pieces. Unusual. Contains several pages of "certificates" attesting to the safety of these cooking instruments, one of which is from Benjamin Silliman. Others are from chemistry professors at other institutions and metallurgical experts.
