ENG 041714 Red cloth hard cover containing a folded map of London along with an attached cloth tape and a stapled booklet with the alphabetical listing of streets, etc. Map with some tears on the creases, first page of the booklet is separated but present in place. Red boards with fairly mild wear and some soiling. "Alphabetical List of Streets, Public Buildings, Railways to accompany the Indicator Map of London (In which every street or public building required can be instantly found by means of a Tape). The Whole Map is Ruled in Quarter-Mile Squares." No date of publication found. With a light colored paper glued under the title on the front board stating "James Wyld, Geographer to the Queen".

Condición: Very Good. 50cmx75cm. Linen-backed folding London street map from 1875, hand-coloured and 'with the most recent improvements' and tramways. Folding tape measure which allows exact distances on foot between locations riveted in place. Browning and light soiling to map, a couple of short tears close to edges of folds but otherwise about very good. Accompanying 48 page pamphlet and visitor's guide present, printed wrappers folded and some discolouration. Early ownership signature on pamphlet cover.
