Consisting of twenty-one sheets and taking nearly ten years to survey, engrave and publish, the work has been celebrated as 'one of the greatest and most handsome plans of any city'.The Index that is presented in facsimile here was first published the following year. Both volumes are in excellent condition and have been kept in the original large cardboard box used for delivery to the original customer, also includes two letters from the editor regarding problems with the package getting to this customer!
