Helmut Newton was awarded the French "Grand Prix National de la Photographie," the German Kodak Award for Photographic Books, and a Life Legend Award from Life magazine. Newton provided fashion photography for French Vogue, Elle and Playboy. He is most known for his provocative and unconventional photographs of nudes.
