Bei den Materialien handelt es sich offensichtlich um Papiere aus der Gründerzeit der Literatur- und Kunstgesellschaft "PAN" in Linz und in Innsbruck. Die Gründung wurde circa 1897 anvisiert, sodann 1898 realisiert. In diesem Konvulut, aufbewahrt in einer Kladde, überschrieben mit PAN, enthält neben 13 Berichten über die Gründung des Vereins in damaligen Tageszeitungen (z. Teil sehr ausführlich) auch die handschriftlichen Notizen (zum Teil in Stenographie) über die zukünftigen Mitglieder, weiters die gedruckten Statuten von Innsbruck und Linz, daneben Einladungen zu Festivitäten und die Kassagebarung, dann Grußbotschaften, Kartengrüße, Briefe und erste Rezensionen (Seebach). Der handschriftliche Teil besteht aus circa 46 Blatt und bezieht sich nur auf den Verein "PAN". Diese Materialien sind unerschlossen und stellen ein wichtiges Bindeglied der literarischen Vernetzung in Österreich dar, deren Bedeutung sich rund um die Zeitschrift "Der Brenner" und "Föhn" spiegelte. Die Namen lesen sich wie ein "who is who" des literarischen und künstlerischen "Jung-Tirol". - Unikat!
