Ink ownership stamp on second prelim of Connecticut judge and postmaster Almond M. Paine (b.1820).

Nice small design of a traveler with rifle slung over shoulder and conestoga wagon pulled by oxen in center of front board stamped in bright gilt in vey nice condition. Text has some foxing of various degrees but overall is in shape shape. The many engravings are hand-colored. The text is in near very good condition. Cover has leather of spine detached which is worn at spine ends laid-in.
