Shelf and spine wear, spine title faded to the point that it is unreadable. Binding is strong and straight. Internally, 2 newspaper clippings (on Balky horses and Scarlett Fever and Smallpox) glued to the inside front board, top front end paper torn and chipped (~1") at the hinge. Pages are somewhat toned and stained, though very readable. Rear cover has newspaper clipping on Preserving Cider. A fair, solid copy of an early work on viticulture. All of our books are individually inspected and described. Never ex-lib unless explicitly described as such.
