Tanquary, Pattanoburg, MO., written on the first blank page in crude calligraphy. 9 handwritten lines on the blank page opposite the title page. Unpaginated. About 100 pages. Sections on "Degree of Entered Apprentice," Degree of Fellow Craft," "Degree of Master Mason," Degree of Past Master," Funeral Service," all with some illustrations. Section of ads at the rear, mostly for Masonic material. Several instances where clippings have been tucked inside and have left rectangular ghost-marks on the pages. Three handwritten pages at the end, with some sort of ceremony written out; "Hearken brethren while I tell you what we --- pledge to do, when when prepared at yonder alter." Another three handwritten pages tucked inside the back cover, also on Masonry. Measures just about 5 x 8 inches. Please email with questions or to request photos.
