A complete collection of 27 programs from the first performances of Gilbert & Sullivan productions, reproduced in facsimile from the originals. There are numerous sizes, paper colors, etc. from various theatres including: Gaiety, Royalty, Opera Comique, Royal Bijou, Fifth Ave., and the Savoy. Includes a four page sheet of explanation by Reginald Allen. Minor shelfwear and soiling to the original box issued by the Heritage Press intended to house the programs. The programs are clean and unmarked. This appears to be the first compilation and facsimile reproduction of these programs. Size: Quarto (4to). Book.

No Binding. Condición: Very Good. Box, 8 1/2 by 12 inches containing a four pages essay, four page description of individual items and 27 facsimilies of various sizes. The box has some wear to edges with the front corners being split (1/4 inch). The contents are all present and near new. Please note- this was originally sold with a set of books. These book are not included. Only the box and it's contents are offered here for sale. I will not ship this overseas.
