Soft cover. Condición: Good. By this 1942 publication of "Essentials of Infantry Training", the United States was engaged in World War II. The bombing of Pearl Harbor occurred in 1941 and so the printing presses were churning out books like these for all the heroic men and women who were signing up to fight. This brave generation was called "The Greatest Generation" for a reason. This book has some slight oil on a few pages that made a few pages stuck together and then tear a tiny bit (first maybe 30 pages out of 659). This book also has some shelf wear. Wouldn't we all love to know its history. Great book for a study of the military and its history. Great gift for someone who served - both past, present and future. (BR) Box 309.
