Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. 1st Edition. I believe this, once listed, will be the only First Edition (NAP, date on title page) of this book for sale anywhere on the Internet. I found only two other copies of the title for sale, one a 1912 Second Edition and one a library book. So this is quite special. Eustace Miles wrote s…everal books on a variety of subjects. But he was also well-known for winning the 1908 Silver Medal (Tennis) at the 1908 Summer Olympics. And at the age of 39. If a proud Englishman wishes to buy this book, note that it is light enough to ship at $23.00, not the quoted $34.00.You can see the blue covers in the photographs provided. They are in smashing shape. No, actually they are. Quite remarkable. Book was published in 1906. Note that the silver lettering on the spine is still very bright. The covers are spotless and there is almost no wear at all, a tiny bit of light rubbing at the corners. This book is also square, straight, and solidly bound. The pages are very clean. There aren't any creases ore dogeared corners. There are two edge tears, a 1/2 inch one off the blank first front end paper (the end papers are darkened but not soiled) and a 1 incher on one page of text. There is also a smidge of loss near the top edge of the rear blank end paper. There are no markings or attachments in the book. It is NOT ex-library. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. Beautiful book.
