In a tie for fourth was Laszlo Barczay representing Hungary and Evgeni Vasiukov of Russia with scores of 9 each. In sixth was Reinhart Fuchs of Germany and Igor Zaitsev of Russia at 8.5. In eight was Burkhard Malich of Germany and Istvan Csom of Hungary at 8. In sole tenth was Dragoljub Minic from Yugoslavia. Shared eleventh was Lothar Zinn and Artur Hennings both representing Germany. Thirteenth was captured by Corvin Radovici of Rumania. In fourteenth was Lutz Espig and Manfred Schoeneberg both of German shared this spot. The the sixteenth position was the lone player from Cuba Rogelio Ortega with 4.5.
