These use Ivory… Soap in the cleaning of linens, clothing, brass work, freckles and tan, etc. GOOD condition. Minor to moderate soiling. Faint dampstain along the top front cover. Minor curling to the corners. Two A's written on the tissue guard at the rear, with minor ink transfer to the last page.

The travails of a newly wed housewife, overwhelmed by housekeeping chores, are relieved by the timely appearance of the archetypal wise woman, Mrs Goodman, who shows how the magic of Ivory Soap can solve her problems and insure a life of marital bliss, followed by instructions for using it for everything from removing freckles, to cleaning ostrich feathers, oil paintings(! ) , keeping insects off plants, etc. Ephemera; formulary; domestic arts; women's studies; advertising.
