Fading to spine of red boards where dustwrapper portions are missing, original owner's gift message dated May 1949 on f/ep, but otherwise a not too bad, tight copy of this hard-cover book. Part of the publisher's "Black's Colour Books" series on English counties, this one looks at Dorset. Originally published in 1925, this is a 1948 reprint of the 1932 second, revised, edition. 200pp, 32 colour illustrations and a map. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
