Such was the demand for Moore's Mars works that these books were re-published in a cheaper format very shortly after their initial publication. While not expensive true firsts, these examples nonetheless share the excitement and exuberance of the splendid original jacket illustrations, and will make a handsome addition to any collection. The jacket here is generally very good to fine, although price clipped, with a few nicks and bumps, normal wear, but no major losses. The books is all very good, very clean and tight, with no marks or inscriptions.

Stamped Feb 1956 in faint black ink to fly-leaf, otherwise a crisp, clean copy showing only a little light wear to the cloth. No jacket. Very good. The second Maurice Grey adventure, following 'Mission to Mars' (1955), concerning potential landings and settlement on Mars in the near future.
