This work covers the design procedure, stage by stage development, design verification by simulation and different control techniques for five phase PMBLDC motor drive in detail with illustrations. The results indicate that the five phase PMBLDC develops high torque with low power compared to a conventional three phase PMBLDC motor of same volume (D/L ratio). The experimental analysis presented in this book should be especially useful to students, researchers, engineers alike who are involved in the understanding of design process, manufacturing, and control of PMBLDC motor drive. 276 pp. Englisch.
